Bach re-orchestrated the prelude from Violin Partita no. 3 for organ solo in his Cantata no. 29. This edition reduces the orchestra parts for double bass and reimagines some passages with added concertante elements to create a flashy duet for violin and double bass. The bass is played in solo tuning and the violin part is unaltered.
